New Elements Released for Modular Miniature Aluminium Euroboard Cases

Due to the popularity of their existing modular PCB/Euroboard aluminium enclosure ranges and the increasing diversity of applications, Fischer Elektronik have released a new range of free-standing cases designed for either wall or ceiling mounting. This new range is composed of brand-new profile designs and additions to their existing modular range, which will enable customers to design cases that integrate both heatsink and enclosure functions. The newly developed profile designs are aimed at applications where vibration and temperature considerations are paramount. Utilising integral mounting tabs, the lower shell sections are designed to provide solid mounting for high vibration applications. These can be combined with upper parts that are designed to dissipate heat using heat-sinks built in to the outside of the enclosure, and are used in applications where high component densities or high temperature devices make this an unavoidable necessity.

The miniature AKG Euroboard cases come in sixteen different versions, with six standard lengths (100, 120, 160, 200, 220 & 234mm) and in either clear or black anodised finishes. FE can also offer machining, milling and printing to customers’ requirements.
