Fischer Elektronik inform of yet another development: the extension of the production area for male headers and of the anodizing shop is the fifth of this type.

Above average growth rates achieved in the three product divisions of Fischer Elektronik, particularly in the field of connectors, give rise to the need for expansion. While in the past year an existing building was refurbished and equipped with an advanced high-lift storage system, the present enlargement by about 400 sq. m. will be used as a production area.

The enlargement of the anodizing area by about 250 sq.m. which was mainly intended to increase the material preparation area, gave us the possibility to install a new anodizing plant complying with the latest requirements for environmental protection. This plant which encompasses the most up-to-date technology is designed to meet the increasing demands with respect to the finishing of aluminium surfaces of heatsinks and case components.

The buildings and the production facilities are scheduled to be completed early in September.
