PC board heatsinks with solder pins
In order to ensure efficient cooling of single electronic components, the use of PC board heatsinks is the optimum solution for both thermal properties and ease of assembly. Fastening of the heatsinks in the PC board is achieved by use of a so-called solder pin, which is a rolled pin with a solderable surface. One end is pressed into the heatsink, and the other end is soldered into the PC board. In order to obtain an optimised fin geometry with regard to dissipation and promoting convection, this range includes heatsinks for horizontal and vertical installation on the PC board. Fastening of the electronic components is by means of a screw or retaining spring. In addition to the existing standard range, special designs are available to meet customers' specific requirements.
